Al Mashoor International Islamic School: Pioneering a New Era in Global Islamic Education in Penang
GEORGE TOWN, PENANG – A landmark educational institution, the Al Mashoor International Islamic School (AMIIS), is set to be established in Penang, marking a significant milestone for the state and the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. The first of its kind in the area, AMIIS is projected to launch in June 2026, heralding a new chapter in world-class Islamic education.
The development of the Al Mashoor International Islamic School is a key initiative under the Penang Islamic Religious Development Agenda 2030 (APAI2030).
