Sr Mohamad Azmi Bin Ahmad @ Abdullah

Sr Mohamad Azmi is a highly experienced quantity surveyor with over 16 years of expertise in the fields of quantity surveying, engineering, and project management. Throughout his career, he has been involved in a wide range of corporate and construction projects, building a reputation for professionalism, precision, and practical cost solutions.
In 2023, he founded ASAS Quantity Surveying Consultant Sdn. Bhd., driven by a vision to establish a firm that champions independent thinking, practical innovation, and client-focused consultancy in the construction industry.
With a deep understanding of construction economics and modern procurement practices, Sr Mohamad Azmi continues to lead ASAS QS in delivering high-value services across both public and private sector projects.
Prior to founding ASAS QS, Sr Azmi served as Senior Site Quantity Surveyor with Kayangan Kemas Sdn. Bhd., where he managed site-level cost and contract duties for the high-profile Intel Pelican Project.
His earlier experience includes significant tenures at KPK Quantity Surveyors Sdn. Bhd. (an AECOM company) in Penang, where he held roles as Contract Executive and later Senior Contract Executive, handling both pre- and post-contract works for high-rise and commercial projects.
Between 2017 and 2019, he was seconded as a Project Manager to UDA Land (North) Sdn. Bhd. under AS2 Consults Sdn. Bhd., where he managed development coordination, project implementation, and contractor supervision from a client’s perspective.
He began his career as a Site Quantity Surveyor at UEM Builders Bhd (Precast Concrete Division), gaining valuable hands-on experience in precast and infrastructure works.
His leadership at ASAS QS reflects a commitment to precision, professionalism, and client-focused consultancy.
